Have you had a taste of the underground world with The “Grand Rappel” and the backstage? Want more?
From the Grotte de la Salamandre, our state-certified caving guides may have already introduced you to caving in the backstage de la Salamandre or the Grand Rappel. They invite you to go even further in your discovery of the underground environment by exploring nearby, undeveloped caves, for even more intense and exclusive adventures.
Three levels so that everyone can enjoy the experience that’s right for them:
Beginner
Here’s a beautiful traverse (chic, you don’t pass the same place twice) of the Méjannes-le-Clap plateau.
Suitable for beginners wishing to go a step further in discovering rope techniques. Abseiling, climbing, crossings and zip lines are all on the programme.
What’s more, it’s a very pretty cave, rich in multi-millennial concretions.
If you enjoyed Les Coulisses de la Salamandre, you’ll love this exploration!
Initiate
During this exploration, you’ll discover the best of the underground world. The entrance alone is worth the trip.
In this cavern, suitable for beginners and the less experienced alike (supervision is tailored to your needs), you’ll descend to around -100m below ground. On the programme: several beautiful abseiling descents, horizontal progression in voluminous galleries, ascent on rope (jumar technique).
A very fine show, but one that has to be earned…
